Miles Wei, MD graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2018 and served as chief resident in internal medicine at The Medical Center, Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, where he was awarded the Stanley T. Peskoe, MD Award for Excellence in Internal Medicine. Dr. Wei has an outstanding record of service in Georgia as a graduate of Mercer’s Primary Care Accelerated Track Program (ACT). The ACT program allows exceptional medical students interested in a career in primary care in rural Georgia to complete their MD in three years.

Dr. Homeier received her medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine with highest distinction. After finishing her degree, she went on to complete a family medicine residency at David Grant Air Force Medical Center where she served as chief resident. In 2000, she completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. Dr. Homeier is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with an added qualification in geriatrics.

As a subsidiary of Mercer University School of Medicine, our patients are cared for by healthcare providers who are leading the way in medical education, technology, and research.

Opening March 1, 2021, Mercer Medicine Putnam County will provide primary care services to Eatonton and surrounding areas. Services provided on-site include:
